COIL POT
MAGIC

Spend a day in the beautiful Madcow Studio making 2 or 3 brilliant coil pots.
Learn basic hand-building clay techniques using tools, textures and moulds. No experience needed.
Enjoy a fully catered morning tea and a spectacular vegetarian lunch.

CHOOK OR
CHICKS

A fun, fun... fun day of sculpting a 'chook' or 'two chicks'. These humorous interactive garden sculptures are a must in every garden.
You can turn your chook in every direction without effort and bring a smile to all.
All materials, tools, welded armature and a hand crafted ceramic comb are provided.
Participants are asked to bring garden and rubber gloves. Come in your 'art clothes'.
Enjoy a fully catered morning tea and a spectacular vegetarian lunch.

MOSAIC
MADNESS

A Day on the tiles - no experience is needed. Create and complete a beautiful designed mosaic while learning techniques of shaping and grinding tiles using hand tools and glass grinders.
All tiles, tools and materials are included. The studio houses an emporium of tiles.
The day will conclude with a grouting session.
A choice of Included projects are a circular fibre cement circle 42cm x 42cm (to fit a lazy suzan, a small table top or a wall hanging) or a stepping stone 40cm x 40cm.
A previously made ‘Chook' from Chook workshop are also welcome for wing & tail mosaicing.
The day is fully catered for with delicious morning tea/coffee and a scrumptious vegetarian lunch.
Wear clothes and shoes for mess and bring a pair of washing up gloves.

REDUCTION
SCULPTURE

This is a highly motivated day, learning the principals of reduction sculpture. You will complete a stunning garden sculpture on it's own plinth and the results are always truly spectacular.
All you need is to bring the simplest of ideas, a pair of rubber gloves and a good pair of garden gloves.

No experience needed. Discover different techniques of mosaic with an emphasis on design and composition. This class allows you to work at your leisure using precision tools and an exciting mix of exotic tiles. There is also the option of creating your own ceramics tiles/objects and have them kiln fired to include in your projects.
Class is open to all abilities regardless of experience and all materials and tools are included.

Art Classes - Adults
Thursday evening class. . . 6:30pm - 9:30pm - Spaces Available
Art classes are based on themes and generally explore a variety of techniques and art mediums. All materials and tools are included in all of the workshops and art classes to make it easy and accessible for all to come and create. We celebrate the combined achievements with an end of the year exhibition in the studio.
