Sword from Kaldárhöfða pagan grave.

Sverð úr Kaldárhöfðakumli.
A pagan grave from the 10th century A.D. was discovered in the south of Iceland in the 1940´s.

The find was significant for the number and quality of artifacts including a highly decorated sword made from iron, bronze and silver.

The sword is now in the national museum of Iceland.
